Watch Out!

I have always had a fascination with watches and I own many. Since I seldom wear an analog watch anymore, the time pieces are scattered around my house. I decided to put them together in an old vase so I could see some of my old friends every day. I loved the way they tumbled in and around the vase until it overflowed. This group contains, among others, watches that belonged to my mother, my father and my grandfather. This painting is transparent watercolor.
