Can you just hear the irrigation pivot pouring out its cool, wet offering onto the field? That's what I see and hear and feel as I am drawn into this painting. The subject matter was new for me; I had shied away from trying it for so long until one day I finally gave in and worked hard at it. I ended up with quite a few "bin paintings" before I landed on a technique that was successful for this challenge.
